Paper pattern & first canvas

The paper pattern is the most important phase in the realization of any garment, the most expensive part but the one necessary so that corrections are made and all the parts that make up the final garment are arranged. In this phase the fabrics to be used are studied, the shape of the garment and the measurement. The solutions to the final product must be found at this stage and only then must the prototype be made. Sometimes paper is used with a very light weight while at other times it is better to use one with a consistency similar to a cardboard. The pattern also serves to study the initial design and realize in 2D what will be the preview of the final product.

The first canvas is the garment sewn into a trial canvas without finishes and lining that will allow us to have a first reference of the final dress, wear it, check that all the seams have been made to art and all the details are exactly as you you have imagined, if it were not so we will adjust them together making corrections until everything is exactly conforming if not better than your expectations- I am ready to amaze you 💁‍♀
